Wooden Beams We supply all of Mexico with domestic and imported pine wood beams. We specialize in special measures to meet the needs of our customers although we also offer standard measures. The beams can be made of natural wood for interiors or treated wood for outdoors or for the prevention of pests and fungi.

The Wooden Beams we offer are made of national and imported pine of 3”, 4”, and 6” thick by 4”, 5”, 6”, 8”, 10” and 12” wide and up to 24’ long. These being the most common sizes, it is important for us to mention that we also supply the measures that meet your requirements. The features that mainly base the quality of our Wooden Beams are:

1. They are solid wooden beams, meaning only one piece.
2. They are dry beams. Los Alpes only offers these beams that will not be affected with time so that they can be used with the simplicity that the quality of our products imply, decreasing the possibility of deformations such as shrinkage, cracking or bending.

The types of Wooden Beams that we offer, according to geographical origin, are national or American. What is the difference between the National Wooden Beams and the American Wooden Beams?

All National Wooden Beams are air dried, while the American Wooden Beams are kiln dried, meaning that they are dried in heat, a process that guarantees a totally even drying.
Within the American Wooden Beams (kiln-dried), we can also find the beams especially “treated” for the outdoors, meaning that the wood that, besides being kiln-dried, has been processed with the thermal autoclave treatment, named Bethell, from United States (see wood for exterior).
This way, at Los Alpes, we cater three types of Wooden Beams:

1. National (air dried).
2. American (kiln-dried or heat dried)
3. American “treated” for the outdoors (also kiln-dried).

An additional fact but less important is that we provide any special cut service (without an additional cost) for your Wooden Beams, considering, of course, the special measures that are needed.
