Los Alpes About us

Wood Sales, without a doubt, is an activity that needs to rely on a vast experience for its optimal marketing. Wood Sales implies the strong responsibility with various sectors of society: with the environment, with the consumers -the product itself- and with its own workers. LOS ALPES has distinguished itself through the years (more than fifty years) in the Wood Sales market, mainly in the industrial sector and without disregarding the other sectors we have established ourselves in this market for both, its successful technique and handling each one of these responsibilities. Because the first questions that pop up in our minds when think about wood sales, just as consumers when we lack of broad knowledge of everything that involves selling wood, might be:

What kind of wood do I need for the specific project in my industry?
What is the warranty that you offer me as a consumer of your wood?
Would the environment be harmed the moment I buy wood from you?
What certifications do you have?
How far do the wood sales services that you offer go?
Does the freight have an additional cost?

More than 65 years of experience in the Wood Sales branch-pine and oak- and hardware can easily offer the answers to these and many more questions and needs that, for as long as all these years, our company has encountered. That is why, our team will assign a highly trained person to visit you wherever you decide and, through a series of questions, we can identify your specific needs and, in case of it being necessary, we could guide you effectively towards making the right decision for you and your company. We will even suggest options that imply making a minor investment, less than what you were planning on spending, this will happen when we are suggesting the type of wood and work that you and your company require.

The guarantee that we offer you starts in the year 1954 when Los Alpes, a company specialized in Wood Sales, was founded with tenacity, vocation, and dedication by the Salazar Suárez brothers, in the city of Allende, Nuevo León, which is located 50 km southeast of the city of Monterrey, Nuevo León, and at 200 km south of the boarder of Hidalgo, Texas, USA. Geographic location that, far from succumbing the remarkable distance from the metropolitan area of the state of Nuevo León (which in fact should be mentioned, that going over these boarders, a big percentage of its customers are located within this area) it has located it in a high value strategic point for the import and export of the Wood Sales market.

It is also important to point out that a product inventory in our storage allows us to offer the flexibility of shipments throughout the world.

We have as our main suppliers different producers from Mexico, Chile, Canada, and United States, countries that have strict sustainability rules, we can be comfortable with nature in spite of our Wood Sales. Even Chile and United States exceed the percentage of trees in their orchards due to their strict rules regarding this subject.

Another relevant point is that we are certified by the SEMARNAT (Ministry of Environment and Natural Resources) with the NOM 144-SEMARNAT-2004, for the completion of the calentamiento térmico (thermal heating), which is a universally indispensable requirement for the commercialization of wood and its import and export.

We offer home delivery service without an additional charge of freight in all of Monterrey and its Metropolitan Area, also available is the delivery service in Wood Sales for the entire country.

Los Alpes is one of the leading companies in the branch of manufacturing pallets, beams, wood packing, in pine and oak, having an outstanding presence, throughout the country, in the Wood Sales market

One of the essential elements to achieve this certification is our Quality Policy, which establishes the lines of action of our company in terms of quality management and expresses our commitment with our partners and customers.
